Challenges and Leadership
Our military tradition promotes a variety of life skills, such as planning, following directions, working as a team, setting goals, and overcoming obstacles. Through this unique program, SCA students become responsible, self-confident young men. They learn to be leaders of honor and integrity through hands-on experience in our peer leadership program.
Leadership begins with our directors
Our military personnel instruct cadets on the basics of successful leadership, including the Fourteen Leadership Traits of the Marine Corps. Following classroom study, cadets are given leadership tasks, both individually and as a group. The military personnel evaluate students on their performance in these leadership roles and share feedback with the cadets.
Why Parents Choose SCA
Our military tradition prepares students for high school, college, and life–not for military service. SCA offers a structured and predictable environment that helps boys learn and grow. Caring military staff act as role models of character, responsibility, and teamwork.
