Extended Care

As a boarding school, SCA is a 24-hour campus. This allows us to offer a variety of extended care options beyond the typical school day to meet the needs of our families and students. Please contact our admissions team for details and pricing.

Before School

Before school care is available beginning as early as 7:00am. Day students may join our resident cadets for breakfast until 7:30am.

After School

TK - 2nd Grade

• After-School Care: 3:00pm - 5:00pm

This program is for students in TK - 2nd grade. Activities include nap/rest time, homework help, reading, games, sing-a-longs, and outside time.

3rd - 8th Grade

• Athletics & Recreation: 4:00pm - 5:00pm

This program is for students in 3rd - 8th grade. Students can participate in supervised recreational activities like soccer, swimming, tether ball, basketball, and handball or try out for JV and Varsity sports teams.

• Afternoon Study Hall: 4:00pm - 5:00pm

This program is for students in 3rd - 8th grade. Students can benefit from an hour of quiet study time to get a head start on homework. Supervision and homework help are provided.

Meal Options

Meal cards are available for students who will be on campus for breakfast or dinner.
