St. Catherine’s Academy (SCA), an all-boys’ Catholic school with a military tradition for boys in kindergarten through 8th has opened its doors for in-person class instruction for the 2021-2022 academic school year. The Anaheim school located less than 2 miles from Disneyland, has celebrated more than 132 years of educating young men for lifelong success.
St. Catherine’s Academy has been educating students at a local and international level since 1889. As the only school of this type in the entire United States, SCA offers a strong Catholic education rooted in the Dominican Charism. The academy also offers a one-of-a-kind military tradition program and a resident program with options of 5- & 7-day boarding.
“We are so excited to welcome our students to begin our 2021-2022 academic year!” said Sister Johnellen Turner, OP, Administrator/Principal of St. Catherine’s Academy. “We have continued to implement safety and health procedures as directed by the CDC and the Diocese of Orange to ensure the safety of our students and staff.”
St. Catherine’s Academy is well known for its stellar academic curriculum and provides young learners the opportunity to be involved in music, sports, robotics, and various elective classes at a very young age.
“St. Catherine’s Academy is the perfect place for boys to learn and grow,” said Sister Johnellen. There is simply no other school like this.”
St. Catherine’s Academy currently has limited space available for enrollment in certain grades but is still accepting applications for the 2021-2022 academic school year.
