Located just 3 miles north from Disneyland, St. Catherine’s Academy, an all-boys’ Catholic school with a military tradition, will be opening its doors to host families interested in touring its beautiful campus on Tuesday, October 25, from 5:30-7:30pm. Light refreshments, giveaways and a warm welcome will be offered to all participants. In addition, families who attend will receive a $300.00 voucher that they can use towards their tuition fee.
St. Catherine’s Academy, known as a “Hidden Gem,” has been serving elementary and middle school-aged students for nearly 130 years. The Dominican Sisters of Mission San Jose and their lay partners founded SCA in 1889. As the only school of its type in the entire United States, SCA has attracted students from across the globe offering a unique junior boarding program. Families can choose from typical day classes to 5-day or 7-day programs. The Open House will be a perfect opportunity to capture so many unique elements of the academy.

Parents will be encouraged to ask questions and will be invited to hear real testimonies from current families and past families. A tour led by student ambassadors will walk families through the school’s classrooms, music departments, infirmary, gymnasium, state of the arts pool, dormitories and more. Teachers, administration staff, military personnel will be present.
St. Catherine’s Academy, founded in 1889 by Dominican Sisters of Mission San Jose, is an independent Catholic School with a military tradition for boys in Transitional Kindergarten through 8th grade. The school offers both day and boarding opportunities.
