St. Catherine’s Empowers Students and Parents to Face the Safety Challenges in our Digital World

This week, St. Catherine’s Academy hosted a cyber-safety assembly for students and parents to discuss the importance of online safety practices. The presentations were led by a professional law enforcement officer who has decades of experience working with schools, students and communities.  Students received valuable information on how to deal with cyber bullying and lessons on how to protect themselves while using the Internet.  Each of the three presentations delivered were tailored to reach specific age groups. Parents also received a special presentation where they were introduced to tools and strategies to help create safe home environments.  The goal of St. Catherine’s Academy is to provide education and resources to help protect and educate our students as they grow up in a digital world.
