Enrichment Classes & Activities
St. Catherine’s is proud to offer a variety of enrichment classes and extracurricular activities beyond what is offered at other Catholic schools in California. Your son will explore a variety of enrichment classes, including computer skills, laboratory science, Spanish, music, physical education, and art. In addition, he will have the opportunity to participate in extracurricular activities, such as marching band, piano, guitar, athletics, color guard, and peer leadership.
Unique Formation Program
St. Catherine’s Academy focuses on the education of the whole child and is rooted in the Dominican pillars of prayer, study, community, and ministry. Through our unique formation program, your son will experience the importance of these pillars through the examples of St. Catherine of Siena, St. Thomas Aquinas, St. Dominic, and St. Martin de Porres. Our unique military tradition, which emphasizes leadership and community, serves to compliment and reinforce the Dominican pillars.
Boarding Program
St. Catherine’s welcomes both day and boarding students. Students in 4th – 8th grade are eligible for our 5-day (Monday through Friday) and 7-day boarding programs, in which students enjoy a close-knit community and 24-hour supervision. Students reside in dormitories staffed by our Dominican Sisters and share experiences with friends from around the world. St. Catherine’s is the only California Catholic School to offer a boarding program for grades four through eight.
